Join us for a 90 minute interactive improv workshop by the Westside Comedy Theater, and learn how improvisational skills can enhance your business professional career through exercises designed to improve communication, sharpen focus and develop creative opportunism.

8:00 – 9:20PM: Experiential Learning Exercises
– Attendees will work in groups for concurrent learning exercises and to cultivate the understanding that they are one unit working to achieve shared success.
– After certain exercises, the instructor will lead rapid-fire debriefs where participants share their experiences

Workshop Description
The purpose of this workshop is to allow attendees to build trust and develop relationships through specific improv exercises, reinforce enhanced creativity/ingenuity, active listening, evolved collaboration, improved communication, sharpened focus, and create an experience with a focus on commitment to the team, to support, and to joy.
Key topics for the program include: developing strong/functional relationships, individual/team adaptability, inspiring with passion, suspension of judgment, valuing diverse perspectives, facilitating collaboration, self-awareness vs. self-consciousness, practicing accountability without scorn, the effect of “but” & analysis paralysis, and the benefits of a “Yes, And…” mentality and to bond as a unit.
