Part of our chapter’s charter is to ensure that we host a variety of events that match the interests of our alumni. Through these unique events HAAS LA hopes to increase the value and importance of building relationships with alumni, current students, faculty, and staff. Our belief is that an engaged and responsive alumni community can in turn contribute to the strong brand equity of The Haas School of Business and UC Berkeley.

Living things can change their environments—and through a process called adaptation, environments can even change living things! With a visit to Ecosystems, discover amazing environments from the familiar to the fantastic, and find out how the physical and living worlds affect–and in some ways, define—each other. Investigate the gallery’s eight Zones, each of which explores a different ecological principle.
Endeavour Together: Experience Endevour with a private docent. Parts & People Celebrate Endeavour, the space shuttle program, and the people who helped make the program possible. The exhibit also highlights the shuttle program’s strong connection to California, where all the orbiters were built. Endeavour Together includes images of Endeavour under construction locally in Palmdale and Downey, as well as artifacts that flew into space aboard Endeavour.
Mysteries of Egypt – IMAX Explore a fascinating empire and discover why Egypt’s unique treasures have captivated the world for over 5,000 years. Accompany the National Geographic team as they uncover the secrets of the pharaohs’ tombs and the pyramids. Soar over the great pyramids of Giza, rush over the Nile, cross the deathly quiet Valley of the Kings, and descend into the shadowy chambers of the sacred tomb of King Tutankhamun.
King Tut – with a private docent Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh We have saved the best for last so you may spend as much additional time in the exhibit as you wish. About Levo Wines:
27 year old Bret Urness started Levo in 2011 (and selling began in 2013), being rejected by all California universities offering oenology and viticulture, he decided it time to wave goodbye to academia and create his own path in the wine world. First a stint in Portugal’s Douro Valley, with a pair of boots & journal- where he realized pretty quickly that he only needed good fruit, barrels & some siphoning tubes to make soulful wines. Since then he has stuck to most these primitive wine making ideas. Keeping his head down, pushing away the tantalizing voice of compromise and overused ideas of tradition. Total production is about 1,100 cases across all types. Levo wines – Tin City, Paso Robles.
