Part of our chapter’s charter is to ensure that we host a variety of events that match the interests of our alumni. Through these unique events HAAS LA hopes to increase the value and importance of building relationships with alumni, current students, faculty, and staff. Our belief is that an engaged and responsive alumni community can in turn contribute to the strong brand equity of The Haas School of Business and UC Berkeley.

Ecosystems Go behind the scenes with a private tour. In our world, everything is connected. Plants, animals, people, weather, water, soil—all are part of a delicate balance. Living things can change their environments—and through a process called adaptation, environments can even change living things! With a visit to Ecosystems, discover amazing environments from the familiar to the fantastic, and find out how the physical and living worlds affect–and in some ways, define—each other. Investigate the gallery’s eight Zones, each of which explores a different ecological principle.
Endeavour Together: Experience Endevour with a private docent. Parts & People Celebrate Endeavour, the space shuttle program, and the people who helped make the program possible. The exhibit also highlights the shuttle program’s strong connection to California, where all the orbiters were built. Endeavour Together includes images of Endeavour under construction locally in Palmdale and Downey, as well as artifacts that flew into space aboard Endeavour.
Mysteries of Egypt – IMAX Explore a fascinating empire and discover why Egypt’s unique treasures have captivated the world for over 5,000 years. Accompany the National Geographic team as they uncover the secrets of the pharaohs’ tombs and the pyramids. Soar over the great pyramids of Giza, rush over the Nile, cross the deathly quiet Valley of the Kings, and descend into the shadowy chambers of the sacred tomb of King Tutankhamun.
King Tut – with a private docent Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh We have saved the best for last so you may spend as much additional time in the exhibit as you wish. Celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the discovery of King Tut’s tomb with the world premiere of KING TUT: TREASURES OF THE GOLDEN PHARAOH–the largest King Tut exhibition ever toured! Discover over 150 authentic artifacts from King Tut’s celebrated tomb, many of which the boy king himself used in life and in death, including gold jewelry, gilded wood furniture, and ornate ritual objects. 60 of these objects have never traveled outside of Egypt until now.
