Construction activity now exceeds levels seen just prior to the onset of the Global Financial Crisis. Some argue that we are building to meet new and pent-up demand (and that we still aren’t building enough to meet this demand). Others fear we are setting up for another glut of space and that lower rents and prices are soon to follow.

Berkeley Haas & UCLA Ziman invite you to join us and hear experts debate how the new and coming supply will be received. Come learn how you can best position yourself in these market conditions.

FAQs:

How many people typically show up at this event?
We typically have over 100 business professionals in attendance. Our event starts with a one-hour reception during which you’ll meet valuable contacts in a friendly atmosphere.  Attendees are primarily business professionals and alumni of an assortment of top business schools.  Current business school students also attend.  This networking part of our event provides great discussion and conversation opportunities.

Will food and beverages be served?
Yes, hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and water will be served.

What makes your event special?
Unlike some events with the same panelists each year, our panel changes to provide our attendees with new perspectives of the real estate industry each year.  While last year’s event dealt primarily with the current state of affairs and where the panel saw things heading, this year’s event focuses on strategy, specifically what makes for a good long term strategy during this time of uncertainty.  We also leave sufficient time for Q&A at the end.

How do I learn more about the panelists?
