London School of Economics invites our alumni to a Special Presentation by LSE Professor Sonia Livingstone, “Dilemmas in evidence-based policy on children’s internet use, risk and safety issues”
Professor Livingstone is a leading expert on media audiences; children, young people and the internet in social, domestic and educational contexts; media and digital literacies; the mediated public sphere; internet use and policy; and the public understanding of communications regulation. She has authored or edited 17 books on these subjects, and she is currently working with the EU Kids Online network in 33 European countries to produce the evidence-base for policy on children’s internet use.
The event will feature a presentation by Professor Livingstone followed by a Question and Answer session. There will be an opportunity to mingle with Professor Livingstone and other attendees during a hosted wine and cheese reception following the presentation.
